CHICAGO, June 26, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — LanzaTech Global, Inc. (Nasdaq: LNZA)—an innovative carbon capture and utilization company that transforms waste carbon into building blocks for materials that people use in their daily lives—has joined the broad-market Russell 3000® Index at the conclusion of the 2023 Russell indexes annual reconstitution, effective upon the US market open on June 26, 2023.
Annual Russell indexes reconstitution captures the 4,000 largest US stocks as of April 28, ranking them by total market capitalization. FTSE Russell determines membership for its Russell indexes primarily by objective, market-capitalization rankings and style attributes.
“We believe inclusion in the Russell family of indexes reflects not only the progress on our long-term strategic pipeline but also our ability to deliver a key disruptive technology by thinking big and collaborating with diverse and strong partners,” said Jennifer Holmgren, CEO of LanzaTech. “This achievement marks a significant milestone in our growth journey as a newly public company. We remain focused on creating value for our shareholders and the planet and thank all our supporters who have remained steadfast in their belief in our technology and our team.”
